Much better alternative
I often let my hair air dry at home when I am not going anywhere. It’s easier on my hair and less time consuming. Adding styling products to hair that air dries leaves my hair stiff and crunchy though. This air dry cream is wonderful. It dries soft with no stiffness. When I brush my hair afterwards it’s not frizzy. It’s soft and shiny. It only takes a pea sized amount so it will last a long time. It has a light pleasant scent. Nothing overwhelming. The price compared to other products is much better too. I have fine, thin hair and it doesn’t weigh it down at all. Very nice product.

Great curl, no frizz
I have spent hundreds of dollars over the last year trying to find the perfect curly hair product for my hair type. Trying to find the right combination of products was very hit and miss – and usually miss. Until I found this product.I used only a pea-sized amount and for the first time ever got nice definition without the frizz. It wasn’t sticky and it wasn’t oily. It didn’t make my hair feel like straw (and it’s color treated) – it was very soft all day.After some more experimenting I found that it works best (for me) if the only product I have in my hair is a leave-in conditioner. The more styling products I tried to add, the worse my results were.I have never really liked air drying but I can’t argue with these results. Great product at an affordable price point.

No frizz, but funky texture
I have mixed feelings about this product. It really does give you perfect curls / waves without the frizz. Even day 2, after sleeping on it, my curls have no frizz. HOWEVER, the texture of it in your hair is very unsettling. It’s not a crunchy cast like you get with mousse. There is just no way to describe it. The best I can say is that it’s like having peanut butter in your hair… or honey. It’s thick and sticky after it dries. You cannot run your fingers thru your hair. Imagine trying to run your fingers thru densely thick spider webs. It seriously gives me the willies! I normally can only wash my hair once or twice a week, but this makes me want to wash it IMMEDIATELY!

Very good product, impressive quality and results. Love that I can refresh my hair with a damp brush or comb the next day and still have great looking hair.

So I’d say it works, but not necessarily as intended
This works ok but not really as an air dry cream. My hair still is frizzy and feels dry if I use this for air drying. If I use it and blow dry my hair, it’s pretty smooth and not as frizzy. So I’d say it works, but not necessarily as intended. The smell isn’t terrible but it’s not great either. I normally like Kitsch products but this one isn’t fantastic.

Lives up to hype
This product is amazing! It does everything it claims to do with a dime size amount. If you have seen the ads on social media they are not lies. It leaves your hair smooth, air dries with beautiful waves, and smells great. Don’t believe the reviews about it being sticky. You only need a dimes size amount and there is not stickiness.

LOVE this brand and their other products but this one wasn’t for my fine textured hair.
I really love this brand, but this product wasn’t for me.I love Kitsch brand sea salt spray, so much so that I have purchased it 3 times and plan to replace once almost gone. But – this Air Dry Cream just wasnt for me. Of course, we all have different hair textures so it could just be that my hair isn’t compatible. For reference, I have fine, chest length hair that is very wavy but without a little product is definitely unruly depending on weather (frizz city in humid summer) but also too much product or heavy product will make it very flat or appear unwashed. I was hoping for textured waves but find for me the sea salt spray (green bottle) is way better giving textured voluminous waves without the crunchy texture some products have (FOR REAL its amazing and I am hooked). This product felt tacky to me in the hands and even though i experimented with application on wet hair/slightly damp hair it just didn’t have the look and texture I was looking for. I either had frizzy hair or it weighed it down way too much depending on the application, there just wasnt a sweet spot. Maybe someone else will have better luck, again I think it’s just not for my hair type someone with thick hair might love it. The smell is nice, like other Kitsch products it’s pleasant and won’t compete with your fragrance at all its very faint but pleasant. A great brand all in all (LOVE the sea salt spray and shampoo/conditioner bars) just this product specifically is not for me.

This is the best cream I love it I’m down to one product now for my hair and set it you know like 15 different things to make your curls nice I love this and I don’t blow dry my hair I do not put heat on My curls I only just air dry it but this is nice it makes it soft makes the curls define and the next day cuz I don’t wash my hair everyday but the next day all I have to do is Spritz it and it’s back like it was I love it I recommend this to anyone with curly hair awesome

I am a great fan of kitsch products , the rice biotin soap and conditioner bars did exactly what they were meant to do , and my bald spot did regrow and my hair is stronger and longer . This however , also does exactly as advertised , my hair was wavy and non frizzy- great. It was very sticky though. I didn’t think I overused but maybe I did . The jury is out for me on this one , it does what it says , but is heavy and sticky 🤷♀️

Edited to add: unfortunately after using it a few times I started to experience the gummy texture others have described and it’s made my hair incredibly knotty and almost matted together when it’s dried. So after writing such a good review, I stopped using it and have now returned this item.Worth the wait!!! I use a small amount emulsified with water just after I’ve washed my hair when it’s still slightly damp, I scrunch my hair up so the water is squeezed out and the product is left behind. When it’s dry I can barely tell I’ve got any product in my hair but my god it works!! See photos for my hair with and without using this! I prefer letting my hair air dry so this is perfect for me. Smells nice too!

Nice tube. Smells nice on my hands but doesn’t leave a detectable scent on my hair.Left my hair soft and too not frizzy except the front where it’s damaged but it still looks a terrible mess air dried.Don’t expect miracles.
