I love the punch and the spiciness of this tea. I also like this brand and their packaging. I feel like I’m getting healthier drinking the loose tea of high quality. The smell is absolutely amazing as is the taste. I’m a fan.

Everything I wanted and more!
If you’re like me and love Chai Tea, let’s face it, the grocery store brands are mediocre at best. Twining’s is okay but I have to use 2-3 bags in my 16oz mug to get the robust spicy flavor I’m looking for. Even Tazo is lacking. The last time I had homebrewed Chai Tea that I LOVED was when Teavana was still around. NOT ANYMORE! Tiesta Tea is perfect! Even at the recommended brew strength I get all the spice flavors I’m looking for. Now I have my husband hooked on it. The customer service is phenomenal too! My first order was messed up with Amazon and they sent me a Passion Berry Jolt. It had the Chai Tea seller label on it. Amazon sent me a new one but I wanted to make sure Tiesta was aware just incase more were mislabelled. I got a response with in a few hours and they offered to assist me further if my replacement was also wrong. They told me to just keep the Passion Berry Jolt so I went ahead and tried it. While it’s not my favorite hot tea flavor I will be keeping it for the spring/summer for Iced. If you’ve missed having lovely loose teas, this is the brand for you!Oh and for anyone complaining about the “amount” in the tins…I weighed the tea and it’s 4oz. Perhaps reference your school books about weights and measures. The heavier spices like coriander and pepper add extra weight so while some teas are full to the brim, the ones with dried fruit and whole spices will be a little less volume.

EDIT: Came back for more! Ordered the largest bags they had available, arrived without any issue and I am not disappointed. The tea is perfect cold-brewed or hot and is now my go to drink in the mornings.The flavor of the tea is great, and has a lasting aroma and no odd aftertaste. They didn’t skimp on the spices so the tea really give that kick. I’d say that for the amount you get, it’s a little bit pricey.However, the tin packaging looks quite pleasing on my counter. It can be reused, and keeps the tea well. There’s actually a clear window on the side that indicates how much is left.For some reason my order of 3 tins all shipped separately, 2 arriving at different parts of the same day and the third on the next. They did arrive in a timely manner and I imagine that the separation is entirely because of the holidaysandis not typical.

Absolute great buy, no regrets
If you’re a fan of chai, this is excellent. I still have issues with smelling, due to the “Big C” 2 yrs ago. But this tea, wonderful bouquet of spices. I let it steep for about 6 or so mins and it’s perfect. The tin is really nice too.

Do not prepare as instructed
The instructions say to simply steep this in boiled water but in order to get the full flavors of this tea, you HAVE to boil the tea itself for at least 5 minutes or more. This has whole spices in it besides the crushed cinnamon sticks and it will not produce a good flavor if you don’t boil it. I add earl grey de la creme from the same brand after I finish boiling and let it steep to get a full flavored and strong chai. I like to add milk and it helps to add little sugar towards the end of the boiling process to create a better flavor and tone the spice from the pink peppercorns down just a tad. Its not spicy but it does have a bit of a pepper bite when drinking, I like it but some might not.

My favorite kind of tea is chai. I have found it very difficult to find a chai tea that I like these days. The chai tea I use to drink was discontinued. This tea is wonderful it has all the flavour and more of the tea I use to buy. It is truly the best! I would definitely buy this tea again!

Great tasting chai tea BUT I did have to use at least twice the amount of tea leaves to achieve a decently strong chai and I’m still on the hunt for the *perfect* replacement for the strong delicious chai tea Teavana used to sell. This one is fairly close, but still missing that “bite”. Overall, I would definitely recommend.
